This is a top notch conference on herbal medicine that will be held right here in our own Rhode Island "backyard"! The United Plant Savers organization works hard to help preserve wild medicinal plants and encourage research in their cultivation and uses. The topics on the table for the conference are primarily related to cultivation of the plants and learning some of their applications in human health. Dr Hassinger highly recommends this conference to anyone who wants to learn more about herbal medicine, for themselves and their animals, especially if they love to garden too!

(Unfortunately, Dr H can't attend, as she will be attending the "healer heal thyself" retreat, sponsored by the Council of Elders of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, which follows their annual meeting this year)
