At Wolf Rock Animal Health Center, one of our greatest joys is helping young people launch their careers in animal care. Over the years, we’ve been privileged to work alongside dozens of bright, compassionate, and driven individuals who have used their experience here as a springboard toward fulfilling careers in veterinary medicine.
Our Legacy of Future Veterinarians
Since we opened our doors, at least a dozen of our employees have gone on to veterinary schools across the country — and even around the world. Their journeys inspire us every day.
In just the past five years alone, four of our talented technician assistants have been admitted to veterinary schools:
Zach – Pursuing his veterinary degree at Ross University on St. Kitts in the Virgin Islands.
Fernando — pursuing his veterinary degree at St. George’s University in Grenada.
Kelly — admitted to the University of Glasgow in Scotland.
Liz K. — after completing a PhD at University of Rhode Island, she is about to begin veterinary school at Tufts University.
More Than Just a Job — A Launchpad
Many of our former staff have also continued their careers in veterinary technician training, specialty hospital roles, emergency care, or have relocated to bring their skills to clinics across the country. It’s an honor to see how the foundation they built here at Wolf Rock continues to support their growth and success.
Every patient interaction, every hands-on learning opportunity, every mentoring moment with our veterinarians and staff — these experiences prepare our team members for the complex, deeply rewarding world of animal medicine. And in return, our patients benefit from their compassion and energy while they’re here.
