Part-Time Position Available
Wolf Rock Animal Health Center has an opening for a part time technician assistant. Previous experience, and/or technical education is always wonderful, however we will consider all highly motivated, and dedicated individuals. College students and high school grads who have a love for animals are encouraged to apply. Applicant should enjoy humans as well as animals, have an interest in working with integrative care, and have a committed “can-do” work ethic.

Volunteer post-surgical cuddler
We have over the years had some wonderful volunteers who come in during our surgery days to sit with our patients during their recovery from procedures. The volunteer must be comfortable with being in a medical environment, and must be willing to follow all directions our staff gives. Generally they spend the afternoon at the cageside or on the floor with patients that are recovering from procedures. This is purely a voluntary assistant position, which functions purely to comfort our patients, while our staff is actively monitoring and treating the patients. The position is a great option for retired nurses, or college students who are looking to begin their experiences in an animal hospital.
Student externships and volunteer positions
We have hosted many college and veterinary students over the years, who are seeking to get required experience in a veterinary hospital. We welcome students to contact our business manager, with a cover letter explaining your request.
Future Opportunities
We’re always interested in connecting with like-minded veterinary professionals. If our approach resonates with you, please feel free to reach out – even if we don’t have an immediate opening.
We maintain relationships with qualified candidates who share our values for future opportunities.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Tired of the corporate mentality? We are always happy to connect with credentialed veterinary technicians, whom we can reach out to when an opening presents itself. We will definitely have a full time opening once we find our new associate veterinarian!
