What to Expect

Due to high demand our practice is at full capacity. We are doing our best to accommodate new patients as availability allows and are maintaining a waitlist for those interested in joining our practice. We appreciate your patience and understanding. The good news is—we’re planning to add another veterinarian soon, which will expand our ability to care for more patients and their people.

How We Work Together

We take a holistic approach to veterinary care

We take a holistic approach to veterinary care, blending conventional medicine with alternative therapies to support each patient’s overall well-being. Our services include preventive and wellness care, treatment for new and urgent conditions, dental care, surgery, animal chiropractic, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and more. Our clinic is fully equipped with laboratory, surgical and radiographic capabilities, along with a pharmacy offering conventional medications and vaccines. We recommend these options when appropriate, always prioritizing the gentlest and most natural therapies whenever possible.

We are dedicated to gentle, compassionate care in a calm, low-stress setting.

You’ll remain with your pet throughout every appointment—we believe in keeping families together. Our exam rooms are free of harsh lights and cold metal tables, we provide lots of delicious premium treats and low stress handling techniques, including flower essences and essential oils that help to relieve anxiety. If you’re looking for thoughtful, personalized, and integrative care for your animal companion, we may be the perfect fit.

We believe deeply in working as a team

We believe deeply in working as a team—with you as your pet’s most important advocate. Chronic illness cases require patience, dedication, communication and trust. Please keep in mind that when there is a serious or long standing medical condition, it may take several weeks or even months for a patient to return to a more comfortable and healthier state.

Nutrition plays a vital role in your pet’s overall health.

We’ll talk with you about dietary options and offer guidance for creating an ideal nutrition plan. While the final decision is always yours, our goal is to give you the information you need to make the best possible choice for your pet.

Personalized Treatment Plan

Based on our assessment, we will work with you to develop a plan that may include conventional treatments, alternative therapies, nutritional changes, or a combination – all tailored to what’s best for you and your companion.

Longer Appointments, Better Care

We believe quality time leads to quality care. That’s why we schedule most appointments for 30 min, giving us time to thoroughly examine your pet and discuss all your concerns. New clients, with a new patient that has no existing medical problems, are scheduled for 45 minutes. New clients and patients with a serious or chronic illness will be scheduled for 60-90 minutes as a Holistic Intake appointment.

Ongoing Care & Support

For animals with ongoing health issues, we will schedule progress exams to monitor their health closely, adjust treatments as needed, and provide education and support every step of the way. Our longer appointment times ensure we’re always available to address your questions and concerns. Acupuncture and chiropractic care are therapies that generally require ongoing treatments over time.

Please note, if your dog or cat has been scheduled for a new patient visit, or added to our waitlist we can not offer any advice as to the care of your animal until your animal has been examined and a doctor/patient relationship has been established.

We recommend that you continue with your current veterinarian or seek local urgent care for any continuing care or new problems before your first appointment.
